We know you all love a good cocktail here at the Craft Rum Club.
And the bank holiday weather unfortunatly here in London anyway is looking like a mixed bad of sunshine and rain! So why not have the best of both worlds. A wonderful spiced rum cocktail and because its not hot sunshine a warming buttered chocolaty finish! Sounds delish, comforting and indulgent, sign me up please!!! lol
We will be using our Scottish rum of the month J.Gow. You can read more about this spiced rum in our recent article and of course you can still grab a subscription box or single bottle whilst stocks last. And now for the recipe.
Ingredient list:
50ml J. Gow spiced rum
2 teaspoons demerara sugar
2 teaspoons butter 2 dashes of bitters
A pinch of cinnamon and allspice
Cocoa powder to garnish
METHOD:
- Add ingredients to a heat proof glass or mug add 100 to 150ml of boiling water.
- Stir and sprinkle with cocoa powder.
