A unique spiced rum with notes of clementine Diablesse Clementine Spiced Rum made from single origin, 100% Demerara rum from the Diamond Distillery in Guyana. Using locally produced sugar cane molasses and traditional pot & column distillation methods dating back hundreds of years. Naturally flavoured with clementine and a warm Caribbean spice mix of vanilla pod, ginger, cinnamon and clove. Full of the aroma of clementine zest, this premium spiced rum has a lovely vibrant deep orange colour. Enjoy on it's own with ice, with your favourite mixer or cocktail, it is sure to please your palate. TASTING NOTES: Nose Delicious, distinctive nose: Gingerbread, toasted cinnamon, clementine zest. Palate Bright, not too sweet or overbearing. Toffee apple, clementine zest. Finish Warm pimento; Sticky gingerbread. Sweetness balanced by a zestiness, fresh, bright, vibrant, natural, soft warm spice. IN AUGUST’S RUM BOX celebrating Jamaican Independence SMITH & CROSS TRADITIONAL JAMAICA RUM 70CL ABV 57% FEVER-TREE SPICED GINGER BEER 200ML (X2) CHIKA'S RICE CRISPS ROAST RED PEPPER 25G NIM'S INFUSIONS ORANGE & JUNIPER ‘RUMSPIRATION’ MAGAZINE featuring @sianpetter and a Jamaican dancehall set by @dimpznlawz SMITH & CROSS TRADITIONAL JAMAICA RUM A rum which represents the distinctively flavourful and aromatic style that made Jamaican rum famous. Containing only heavier bodied Wedderburn and medium bodied Plummer pot still distillates, famous for their notes of exotic fruits and spice and fermented using a local strain of yeast indigenous to Jamaica, Smith & Cross delivers a tour de force of flavour and complexity that historically made Jamaica Rum a cornerstone of many classic drinks. TASTING NOTES: The nose is extremely aromatic and pungent with hints of alcohol that you would expect from this 57% ABV Jamaican pot still rum. Pineapple and ripe banana combine with more intense notes of tobacco, cocoa, cloves, cinnamon and spice to give a very intense nose. A real burst of flavour hits your tongue as it is tantalised by the high alcohol and intensity of the pot still distillates. Initially sweet, sugar and caramel notes dominate, this sweetness then gives way to the intense fruit notes from the nose but this time with more developed character of prunes, sultanas and caramelised orange peel before more leathery, spicy, vanilla and tobacco notes take over. A long, long, warming finish driven by the high alcohol, sweet and spiciness. Next up is our spiced rum of the month - happy National Daiquiri day 🍹🍹👏 Haze Daiquiri INGREDIENTS 40ml Foursquare Spiced 80ml Thatchers Haze Cider 15ml Lime Juice 10ml Simple Sugar Syrup Ice Cubes METHOD Add a couple of scoops of ice into a cocktail shaker and then pour rum, Thatchers Haze, lime juice and sugar syrup over it. Screw the cap of shaker on and shake until it starts to frost outside. Open the cap and strain mixed drink in to a chilled martini glass. #nationaldaiquiriday #premiumdrinks #subscriptionbox
