What an amazing Chill Spot live event we had recently with our Craft Rum Club family!

The Chill Spot presents an evening with rum, fun and live music all at the beautiful South Bank Limin venue. We kicked off our evening with welcome cocktails curated by our global rum ambassador Ian Burrell using our special guest rums. As our eager attendees mingled with each other over a cocktail, they also indulged in some flavourful packed Trini & Jamaican food from the Limin menu. There was ambient music with amapiano, afro house and old school bangers we all love to set the mood and pace for the evening.

We kicked off the rum tasting with our guest Drop Works,  you can read all about this fast growing brand from the UK here, using the imaginative power of science to create a spiced (without any actual spices added) rum. There presentation was informative, passionate and we were treated to a special preview of an up and coming rum not yet available and we were the first to try it!!

Next up was our second rum guest Kromanti. this father and daughter duo told wonderful tales of how this rum came to frutation, traditional tales and stories all wrapped up in a flavour packed rum infused with tamarind. Again another exclusive treat was a sneek preview of their latest offering to the market, a plantain infused rum, YUM!

Each presentation was followed by a Q&A and feedback from the attendees on how they enjoyed the rums and cocktails presented.

Next up was our featured live music performance of the evening by BoySaySo. He got the crowd up on their feet, now merry with rum cocktails and 2 tracks written and inspired by the cocktails presented on the night. What a fab way to almost end the night. BUT FIRST we had a few goodies for the audience to win from our awesome prize draw. Up for grabs was our limited edition baseball cap, 100% cotton rum club t-shirt and our miniture flight rum box. Everyone left happy after some final selfie pics, great food, networking and laughter and plenty of excietment for our next rum tasting event and we hope we made some new subscriber Craft Rum Club members to the family!

Did you attend? love to hear your feedback of the evening on our socials. BIG CHEERS and hope to see you at the next one!
